My good buddy, GE, informed me about this Atom.com‘s exclusive comedy webseries called Video Game Reunion. Here’s the official site’s synopsis:
Desperate to reboot their failed careers, the once-great video game heroes of the 1980s are coming back together… for a reunion. Go behind the scenes into the sordid lives of Mario, Mega Man, and their gang of 8-bit misfits in a live-action parody that answers the question, ‘Where are they now?’
I checked out the trailer, and I was very amused. I will definitely be checking it out, starting on March 8, 2011.
One of my favorite pro-wrestling photo blogs is Wrestling Great. There’s not a lot of big guys (at least with my definition of “big” is); but for the ones who do show up are simply “great” to behold. One of my finds is a pro-wrestler who dons a pharaoh costume. Unfortunately, I have no clue as to who he is and I’m begging any wrestling expert out there to provide us with the 411. [KEEP ON WOOFIN'!]
I was pretty harsh on ESPN Magazine’s 2010′s “The Body Issue” when Steven Holcomb’s godly physique was digitally altered. However, thanks to GE, he pinpointed me to ESPN Magazine’s “The Body Issue 2009: Battle Scars” which featured a close-up of Casey Hampton’s magnificent belly. Needless to say, seeing an almost-nude image of Mr. Hampton is an excellent way to win someone like me over — even though this was shot a year before the Holcomb-Gate fiasco. ^___^
Here is the link to the Flash Gallery of “The Body Issue 2009: Battle Scars”:
I can’t seem to embed this ESPN video, but you can briefly see him in an interview with all of the athletes — including Randy Couture — involved in that photo shoot.
Unfortunately, the Pittsburgh Steelers did not win the SuperBowl this year, so we’re gonna miss out on seeing a shirtless Casey Hampton at a SuperBowl Parade…
Does actor Josh Gad look like Jack Black with Jonah Hill’s girth and curly hair? You be the judge as Josh Gad briefly impersonates the two actors (with artistic liberties) as a correspondent for The Daily Show in Comedy Central:
I first noticed him from Season 2, Episode 2 of Showtime’s Bored To Death. And with the following image, it’s going to be very self-evident why I immediately fell in lust with this big and cute cuddly chubby bear…
Bored To Death has quickly become one of my favorite TV series. Not only is the woofy Zach Galafianakis in it, the show is smartly-written and perfectly cast with Jason Schwartzman as the lead.
But on today’s post, I just want to point out a handsome actor who played a bartender in Season 1, Episode 5 (The Case Of The Lonely White Dove). Unfortunately, IMDb nor the end credits shed any light on this mysterious stranger’s true identity…
abearjunkie from Tumblr dropped this huge bit of info about Will Sasso being shirtless in Season 3, Episode 14 of Entourage. Anyway, he’s not fully shirtless but it’s possibly the closest we can see the handsome Will Sasso showing a bit more skin. However, I’ve been tracking National Lampoon’s The Legend Of Awesomest Maximus (which appears to be another swords & sandals spoof, such as 300, Gladiator, and Troy) because Will Sasso plays the lead! Please, National Lampoon, do well on your spoofing promise by making Will Sasso wear less costume as possible…
So here’s that quick scene of Mr. Sasso chilling in the pool…
ChaserAlex was kind enough to share with me a video clip of a hot chubby bear dancing in FlashForward. I have already seen it but I am very grateful that he has already extracted the awesome video clip. Thank you, Alex!
Anyway, the hot chubby bear looked very familiar but I couldn’t quite pinpoint who he was. IMDb’ed his character and I was surprised to learn that it was Jeff Richards, famously known as “Drunk Girl” from Saturday Night Live (here’s a “Drunk Girl” video).

He kinda resembles Greg Grunberg here...
FlashForward is a pretty interesting show so far. I posted this mashup on Tumblr before and I figure I post it here as well. It’s my theory as to what caused the mass blackout…
This is just awesome. IAmAaron from Tumblr just shared this video and the actor in it looked very familiar. Once the credits rolled, I was surprised to find out that it’s Rob Stern from ActionPals! Holy Moley! He is even more cuter with a beard. Is that even possible?
The Worst Speeches of All Time: Pro Wrestler’s PTA Campaign
Such a missed opportunity with the ripping of the dress shirt though. ^_^
Anyway, I then checked out ActionPals and found 2 new videos with Rob Stern. He doesn’t have a beard in the first one but you get to see him in his handsome bearded glory in the second one…
Got a little bit of a BearBeat action going on in this Big Dick video for me…
That smile can make me do whatever he wants me to do...
Now this is just awesome. A couple of young lads have created this amazing video called “Cloverbrawl.” As a video game geek, I was all over this two-part video. Every game character, items, motifs that show up just made me giddy like a little girl. These guys are gamers and this video is just a totally spectacular tribute. I really hope that they make a series out of it.
And as a bonus, there’s an uber-cute chubby bear in it named Michael Van Ostade. And for the Chubarama fans out there, make sure to check out his younger brother (I think?), Andrew Van Ostade. He has videos of being a Fat Ninja and as a Fat Dancer.
Anyway, it’s unfortunate that Michael did not survive long enough to make it to part 2, but the overall film is still downright entertaining.
